Abel Womack, Inc. is seeking an energetic and motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our growing sales team. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of our business, generating new opportunities and helping organizations optimize their intralogistics operations.

What You'll Do
  • Generate qualified sales opportunities through cold calling, email outreach, networking, and other prospecting strategies
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and evaluate competitive positioning
  • Engage with prospective clients, respond to inquiries, and introduce our solutions
  • Build and nurture relationships with key decision makers and influencers
  • Schedule qualified meetings for the sales team from targeted prospect lists or assigned territories
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of leads and activities in the CRM system
  • Collaborate with internal sales and technical teams to ensure smooth transition of leads into the pipeline
  • Stay informed on industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activity
  • Support additional sales and business development initiatives as needed

What We're Looking For
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 0-2 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field (experience in industrial or warehouse environments is a plus)
  • Strong communication skills-clear, confident, and persuasive (both verbal and written)
  • High energy, self-motivation, and a proactive mindset
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through
  • Analytical thinker with the ability to identify operational challenges and propose solutions

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
  • Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to navigate warehouse and manufacturing environments, including walking on concrete floors and maneuvering in tight spaces
  • Ability to travel and operate a vehicle for business purposes
