Salary Range: $125,000-$140,000

Position Overview

Environmental Design Group is seeking a dynamic Business Development Executive to drive strategic growth across our Innovation PODs. This role focuses on building strong client relationships, developing business strategies, expanding market presence, and identifying new opportunities that align with client goals and organizational growth. The ideal candidate is a relationship-builder, strategic thinker, and trusted advisor who can strengthen the EDG brand while supporting long-term client success.

Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field is required.
  • Experience: 7-10+ years.
  • Advanced communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical and creative thinking.
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills in a team-oriented environment.
  • Certifications: PE, or other appropriate certification is preferred.

  • Develop and implement business development strategies that generate growth opportunities and strengthen client partnerships.
  • Build and elevate the Environmental Design Group brand across Innovation PODs.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and primary relationship owner for key clients.
  • Understand client goals, organizational structures, and decision-making processes to align services with client needs.
  • Identify decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders that impact project selection and business opportunities.
  • Drive CRM utilization and support strategic client pursuit efforts.
  • Mentor and guide associates in business development best practices and relationship building.
  • Support new client acquisition and expansion of existing client relationships.
  • Attend networking events, trade shows, and industry conferences to promote business development and market visibility.
