Position Summary:

Come join an innovative leader in the healthcare industry! MDVIP is seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) who will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by generating and qualifying leads through strategic cold outreach. The Business Development Representative’s primary focus will be to identify, target, and secure new client meetings, while helping the sales organization scale. This role is ideal for a self-starter who excels in communication, thrives on challenges, and has a passion for building relationships. This role reports to the Business Development Director and supports the Physician Development Sales team.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation: Identify and prospect potential clients using cold outreach strategies, including email campaigns, phone calls, LinkedIn messaging, and other digital platforms.
  • Research & Targeting: Conduct research to understand prospects' industries, pain points, and needs to tailor outreach efforts effectively.
  • Qualify Leads: Engage with prospects to understand their requirements, assess their fit for our services/products, and pass qualified leads to the sales team.
  • Maintain CRM: Keep accurate records of prospect interactions, follow-ups, and pipeline activities in the CRM system.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align strategies, share insights, and improve lead conversion rates.
  • Metrics-Driven: Meet or exceed monthly lead generation and qualification goals while continuously improving outreach techniques.

Key Competencies

  • Goal oriented with a track record of measurable success, exceeding company sales goals, as an SDR or BDR.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
  • Go to market expertise, you know how to get your foot in the door with prospects, especially busy ones with gatekeepers.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail in CRM tracking and pipeline management.
Requirements:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • One (1) year in a similar role (sales development, business development, or lead generation) with experience in cold outreach..

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the healthcare industry, specifically selling into doctor’s offices.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or other major CRM platforms.
