We're scaling rapidly and looking for an entrepreneurial, driven Business Development Representative to join our high-performance sales team.

Job Description

The Opportunity

As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you'll focus primarily on qualifying and scheduling inbound leads. You will also help drive prospects to events and webinars, and conduct follow-ups with limited outbound outreach to ICP (Ideal Client Profile) targets. You will partner with Thought Industries' Account Executives to grow our client base. 

This role is designed for someone with 1-2 years of experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about beginning a sales career.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Inbound Lead Management: Conduct timely follow up and qualification of inbound marketing leads and demo requests per our stated SLA's.

  • Event and Webinar Support: Help drive attendance and prospect engagement for marketing-sponsored events and webinars.

  • Sales Execution: Maintain standard activity levels related to outbound activities, meetings held and pipeline conversion to opportunities.

  • Sales Operations: Manage and report on your sales activity in Thought Industries' CRM system.

What You Bring to the Table

  • Bachelor's Degree.

  • 1-2 years of previous B2B SaaS Sales Experience.

  • Strong business acumen.

  • Comfortable speaking to potential and current customers over the phone and video including demoing solutions through remote software.

  • Ability to identify and qualify sales leads based on qualification criteria.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Passionate, motivated and hungry to succeed.

  • Prior knowledge of the Learning Technology space is a plus 

  • SalesForce, LinkedIn and Google Workspace Experience required.

  • Experience with Gong, Outreach, Apollo, ZoomInfo, or similar tools is a plus

Additional Information

All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines. 

The annual base salary for this role is $55,000 with annual bonus eligibility of $20,000.
