Associate, Business DevelopmentSan Francisco, California
We are seeking a highly motivated professional who will partner closely with the Founder and Senior Client Team Leads to align business development with firm priorities. This person will own the end-to-end business development operation, ensuring advisors have well-researched opportunities, strong materials, clear pipeline visibility, and consistent execution standards.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Build and Operate the Business Development Engine
    • Design and run the end-to-end business development engine, including sourcing, research, qualification, team allocation, and pipeline tracking
    • Build workflows, operating cadence, and governance that provide leadership visibility into pipeline health, conversion performance, and revenue trajectory
    • Define standardized qualification criteria, stage definitions, and routing logic to ensure senior advisors focus on the highest-probability opportunities
    • Establish handoff protocols and feedback loops that maintain momentum and preserve relationship quality from centralized preparation through advisor engagement
    • Create tailored presentations and proposals for prospective clients, ensuring alignment with their unique financial goals and the firm's value proposition
    • Manage and track the entire prospective client pipeline in CRM (e.g., Salesforce), including logging interactions, updating status, and maintaining accurate records

  • Enable Consistent Prospective Client Engagement
    • Develop materials and playbooks that support consistent prospective client engagement, including templates, positioning frameworks, and briefing standards aligned to a unified firm narrative
    • Ensure advisors are equipped with well-researched opportunities, strong materials, and clear context at the point of engagement

  • Reporting, Analytics, and Operational Rigor
    • Build dashboards and tools to track KPIs, pipeline performance, and operational effectiveness
    • Track and report on progress of strategic initiatives, identifying risks, dependencies, and roadblocks
    • Prepare content for leadership, strategic planning sessions, and business reviews
    • Analyze referral sources and pipeline metrics to identify trends and report on business development performance, including client referrals, reference calls, and projected AUM

  • Strategic Initiatives
    • Support execution of key firm initiatives, with primary emphasis on business development and secondary support for select corporate initiatives
    • Contribute to internal communications on behalf of senior leadership, as needed

  • Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of relevant experience (strategy, business development, consulting, or investment management)
  • Strong analytical, writing, and presentation skills; capable of producing polished, decision-ready materials

Compensation & Benefits
Compensation at Jordan Park includes a base salary, discretionary year-end bonus, benefits, and other perks. We apply a total reward philosophy when determining compensation terms.
The expected base salary for this role in San Francisco, California will range from $120,000 to $150,000 per year commensurate with experience, job-related skills, relevant education, licenses and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
