We are seeking a high-performing Account Executive with a true hunter mentality to drive new business acquisition, expand market share, and grow strategic client relationships within an assigned territory. This role is ideal for a consultative sales professional with a strong background in commercial electronic security solutions who thrives on prospecting, relationship development, and closing complex solution-based deals. 
 
The ideal candidate combines aggressive business development instincts with exceptional client relationship management, strategic thinking, and the ability to design tailored service solutions that solve business challenges.

The compensation range listed represents total on‑target earnings (OTE), which includes both base salary and commission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a territory sales strategy focused on new business acquisition, market penetration, and revenue growth  
  • Identify, prospect, and pursue new business opportunities within the commercial market through cold calling, networking, referrals, trade associations, and lead generation activities  
  • Build, manage, and maintain a robust sales pipeline using CRM tools to track prospect activity, opportunities, forecasting, and client engagement  
  • Conduct a minimum of 10 in-person client meetings per week within the assigned territory to develop relationships, uncover opportunities, and advance the sales cycle  
  • Present and sell commercial electronic security solutions and consultative service offerings aligned to customer operational and business needs  
  • Develop and deliver tailored proposals, presentations, and strategic solution recommendations based on client requirements, industry trends, and risk considerations  
  • Collaborate with internal engineering, operations, project management, and subject matter experts to develop customized solutions for complex client environments  
  • Expand existing client relationships through upselling, cross-selling, and account development strategies while securing new logo business  
  • Demonstrate strong negotiation skills to structure profitable agreements and close business effectively  
  • Participate in networking events, industry trade shows, and community/business organizations to build brand visibility and generate qualified leads  
  • Maintain strong market awareness of industry trends, competitive positioning, emerging technologies, and customer needs  
  • Travel extensively throughout the assigned territory to support business development efforts and client engagement 

Skills, Knowledge and Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of successful B2B consultative sales experience, preferably within commercial electronic security, security integration, access control, video surveillance, alarm systems, or related technology solutions  
  • Minimum 5 years of proven quota attainment, consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets in comparable markets  
  • Demonstrated success in cold calling, prospecting, networking, lead generation, and new business development  
  • Proven experience selling complex commercial electronic security solutions  
  • Strong experience developing and executing strategic account growth and outsourcing/service solution strategies  
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite  
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, interpersonal, and negotiation skills  
  • Highly organized with strong time management and territory planning capabilities  
  • Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel extensively within assigned territory 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field  
  • Experience selling integrated technology or managed service solutions  
  • Existing relationships within commercial markets in the assigned territory
