As a Senior Business Development Director, you would be responsible for:

  • Prospecting, developing, and closing new business opportunities within the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, medical device, and CRO sectors.
  • Growing and managing strategic and existing customer accounts.
  • Building strong relationships with clients, partners, distributors, and key opinion leaders.
  • Representing the company at conferences, networking events, and client meetings.
  • Maintaining an accurate sales pipeline and providing reliable sales forecasts.
  • Supporting leadership in achieving commercial objectives and identifying opportunities to improve products, services, and processes.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor by bringing market insights and challenging existing approaches to drive continuous improvement.

We would like you to have: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum 8 years of sales and business development experience with responsibility for achieving commercial targets.
  • Proven experience working with large pharmaceutical companies, biotechnology, CROs, or the broader life sciences industry.
  • Experience across key commercial and marketing disciplines, including communications, demand generation, and product marketing, in international markets.
  • Experience supporting or leading large-scale patient recruitment campaigns.
  • Demonstrated success in building strategic client relationships and driving business growth.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience hiring, mentoring, and developing high-performing commercial or marketing talent is an advantage.
  • Self-driven, strategic, and customer-focused with the ability to build lasting partnerships.
