Why this role matters

The Strategic Business Development Manager - Network Powered Solutions (NwPS) is responsible for identifying, shaping, and incubating new growth opportunities to expand the NwPS addressable market and build a sustainable, multi-year pipeline. Operating at the intersection of market sensing, partnerships, and solution incubation, you'll ensure NwPS solutions are built in alignment with customer demand and ahead of competitive shifts - with a focus on opportunity creation that converts into revenue over a 12-36 month horizon.

Your key responsibilities

Market & Opportunity Discovery

  • Identify emerging market needs, industry inflection points, and new monetisation models aligned with corporate strategy

  • Develop and validate new use cases, vertical plays, and solution concepts that can scale over time

  • Conduct structured market analysis (TAM, value pools, buying centres, competitive dynamics)

Pipeline Incubation

  • Build and maintain a future-year opportunity pipeline (12-36 months) with clear conversion paths into sales execution

  • Seed early-stage opportunities through pilots, design partnerships, and proofs of value

  • Work with Sales Overlay and core sales teams to transition mature opportunities into active sales motions

Strategic Partnerships & Ecosystem Development

  • Identify, develop, and manage strategic partners (technology, platform, ecosystem, or channel) that unlock new markets or accelerate adoption

  • Structure joint value propositions, co-innovation initiatives, and go-to-market frameworks

  • Support partnership governance, alignment, and long-term growth planning

Solution Incubation & Executive Engagement

  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Architecture teams to validate feasibility, differentiation, and scalability of new concepts

  • Sponsor early customer trials, pilots, and lighthouse engagements

  • Engage senior customer and partner stakeholders to test strategic narratives and shape executive-level business cases

  • Represent the company in strategic forums, industry events, and innovation ecosystems

What you'll bring

Required:

  • 8-10+ years of experience in strategic business development, corporate strategy, or innovation-led growth roles

  • Proven ability to build pipeline ahead of formal sales execution

  • Strong commercial and technical acumen across complex B2B solutions

  • Experience engaging C-level stakeholders and shaping long-term value propositions

  • Comfort operating without quota pressure while remaining outcomes-driven

  • Strategic, curious, and externally oriented - with strong storytelling and analytical rigour

  • Comfortable with ambiguity, long time horizons, and a builder's mindset

Experience we consider a plus:

  • Experience launching new products, platforms, or business units

  • Background in ecosystem or platform-based business models (API platforms, marketplace models, developer ecosystems)

  • Exposure to Telco, Network API, CPaaS, or GSMA/CAMARA ecosystems

  • Experience in global, matrixed organisations with cross-functional leadership responsibilities

How you'll benefit:

  • Medical, Dental, and Vision Coverage Options
  • 401(k) Savings Plan
  • Company-Paid Basic Life and AD&D Insurance
  • Short-Term Disability (STD)
  • Long-Term Disability (LTD)
  • Maternity/Parental Leave
  • Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)
  • Health Savings Account (HSA)
