We are seeking an experienced Business Development Officer to join a nationally recognized bank specializing in financing solutions for small businesses. The Bank is a leading SBA lender, offering SBA 7(a), SBA 504, USDA B&I, Express Loans, Asset-Based Lending, Commercial Real Estate, and Commercial Construction financing. This is an exciting opportunity for a proven SBA lending professional and business development leader who knows how to build relationships, generate their own pipeline, structure financing solutions, and consistently close significant loan volume. What You'll Do As a Business Development Officer, you will manage the full lifecycle of SBA and small-business lending relationships from identifying prospects to closing and funding transactions. Originate SBA loans, equipment leasing, and Asset-Based Lending transactions for small businesses nationwide Develop and maintain relationships with small business owners, brokers, referral partners, and other centers of influence Generate new business through networking, referrals, and proactive business development Identify financing opportunities and recommend appropriate funding solutions Prepare complete financing applications and loan packages for underwriting Partner with underwriting and present loan opportunities to the Credit Committee Obtain customer commitments following loan approval and coordinate transaction funding Expand market penetration and develop new opportunities within assigned markets Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies in partnership with senior leadership and the marketing team Maintain an active pipeline and accurately manage opportunities through Salesforce Consistently achieve annual loan production goals What We're Looking For We're looking for a proven producer, not simply someone with banking experience.
