Role Summary:
We're looking for a driven Business Development Associate to join Triumph's sales team and help grow our LoadPay platform and carrier financial solutions. In this role, you'll connect with carriers, uncover their needs, and introduce them to tools that improve cash flow, simplify payments, and strengthen their overall financial operations. You'll thrive here if you enjoy fast-paced sales, building relationships, and turning conversations into real business impact.

This is an evergreen requisition intended to build a future talent pipeline for upcoming cohorts with anticipated start dates of November 1, 2026, January 1, 2027, and June 7, 2027.

Day in the Life:
In a typical day, you'll be connecting with carriers through outbound calls and inbound leads, learning about their business, and identifying how LoadPay and other Triumph solutions can support them. You'll have consultative conversations, manage a high volume of outreach, and work closely with internal teams to move opportunities forward and ensure a smooth customer experience.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Reach and exceed monthly and quarterly goals by engaging carriers through outbound calls and inbound inquiries

  • Introduce LoadPay and clearly explain its value, including faster payments and improved financial visibility

  • Have discovery conversations to understand carrier needs, challenges, and payment processes

  • Identify opportunities to introduce additional Triumph services such as factoring, fuel programs, lending, and insurance

  • Generate and qualify leads for internal sales and cross-sell teams

  • Track all activity, pipeline updates, and customer interactions in Salesforce

  • Handle questions and objections professionally while guiding prospects toward next steps

  • Share customer feedback and market insights with internal product and leadership teams

  • Partner with internal teams to support onboarding and issue resolution

What Makes You a Great Fit:

  • 1+ year of sales, business development, or customer-facing experience preferred

  • Comfortable working toward goals in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment

  • Strong communication skills, especially over the phone

  • Ability to make high-volume outbound calls and stay organized while doing so
