What's the role?

As an Application Sales Consultant you will be responsible for serving as a subject matter authority on technical solutions to assist in the account management and revenue generation and sales of highly sophisticated / technical products, services, applications, and/or solutions.

How can you add value?

  • Responsible for advising direct sales teams and customers to provide technical expertise regarding the design, customization, and implementation.
  • Provides subject matter expertise regarding technical issues relating to sales.
  • Advises customers on suitability of products based on technical needs.
  • Prepares proposals, presentations, or bids, including developing pricing, for highly sophisticated solutions.
  • May handle and coordinate the sales and/or technical team in support of the sale of highly sophisticated products and services to a customer.
  • Spends some time at the customer premises developing and presenting sales proposals and systems solutions.
  • Requires extensive knowledge of company products and services.
  • Develops strategic plans related to the customer and the proposed solutions/sale.
  • Attain assigned revenue account goals.
  • Provide high quality account management and customer support services to assigned accounts.
  • Assist with the development, negotiation, presentation, and implementation of clients’ contracts.
  • Establish confirmed, long-term customer relationships and nurture new business opportunities by diagnosing needs, communicating solutions, and addressing customer concerns.
  • Develops and expands relations and rapport among the assigned accounts, further from just the direct partners and decision-makers.
  • Coordinate local marketing and related efforts within assigned accounts.
  • Keep up to date on driven activities in accounts and communicate information to peers and to management.
  • Evaluate, select, and deploy security tooling to address evolving threats in alignment with the overall software security strategy. This will include repository services, repository firewalls, software composition analysis, static code review, dynamic application security testing, run-time protection and other tools.
  • Lead all aspects of team members to ensure execution of security and VAS strategy on time and budget. Includes typical responsibilities of personnel management, issue customer concern, communication with senior management and daily administrative tasks.
  • Demonstrates and ensures compliance with Liberty Latin America Privacy Policy, Customer First Philosophy, all Liberty Latin America’s policies, and procedures including the Code of Conduct and Liberty safety standards and procedures.
  • Other functions that may be assigned.

What do you need?

Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in business or an Engineering degree.

2-5 years of experience in marketing, sales, or business development experience in a B2B, technology solutions company. Relevant work experience developing opportunities in the local government sector and/ or major accounts. Validated skills in marketing strategy, customer segmentation, market assessment and driven positioning.

Other Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical abilities for market/trend analysis
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
  • Proficient in English and Spanish is a requirement.
