Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Business Development

  • Develop and manage a strong sales pipeline to meet or exceed revenue goals (site accounts $500K+).
  • Generate new business through cold calling, prospecting, and strategic territory planning.
  • Apply consultative sales techniques to understand client needs and identify solutions.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing insights.
  • Expand business within assigned territories and major accounts.

Client Engagement & Relationship Management

  • Manage and grow relationships with small to midsize accounts ($50K–$2M).
  • Partner with internal teams to develop tailored sales presentations.
  • Conduct follow-up meetings, proposals, and pricing discussions.
  • Build long-term client relationships that support ongoing and repeat business.

Operational Excellence

  • Accurately document sales activities in Salesforce.com.
  • Maintain awareness of staffing, HR, and local market conditions.
  • Travel within the local market to support business development efforts.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
  • 5–9 years of outside B2B sales experience; staffing industry experience is a plus.
  • Proven success selling to medium and large accounts.

  • Strong organizational and planning abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to build rapport and manage client relationships.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; Salesforce.com experience preferred.
