Job description

IT Business Continuity plans and procedures are used in business continuity planning to ensure that the critical organizational operations required to keep an organization running continue to operate during events when key dependencies of operations are disrupted. 

The IT Business Continuity Consultant would provide support for project/program management activities, work with technical teams to identify requirements and test plans, identify business continuity scenarios and coordinate deployment/exercise activities. The IT Business Continuity Consultant will plan, prepare, perform and document Business Continuity activities within the IT infrastructure.

What you need

  • US Citizen on US soil (required)
  •  Ability to work with technical team to capture work efforts, document tasks, coordinate across teams, and support creation of work products/templates.  
  • Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently
  • Ability to identify potential areas of improvement and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop strong professional relationships with fellow team members
  • Skilled in using MS Word, MS Excel and Visio

Bonus if you have

  • 1-2 years of requirements gathering and/or testing experience
  • Participated in a Disaster Recovery or Ransomware exercise or real life scenario
  • Knowledge of business impact and risk analysis processes
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with business and technology professionals
