Description

The Business Development Officer generates new, profitable financial relationships, focusing on commercial real estate lending. Provides consistent, high quality service to expand the current business customer base while meeting and/or exceeding sales objectives. Interacts directly with Business Banking and Commercial Real Estate Lending Officers in presenting CRE loan proposals to mortgage banking referral partners and potential Bank customers. Requires a thorough knowledge of real estate finance, as well as marketing and sales programs. Compensation structure: base + commission. 


Works remotely and independently from the Dallas - Fort Worth, Texas region. 

Requirements

  • Five years proven and progressive related sales and marketing experience
  • Knowledge of commercial lending practices and lending approval process
  • Ability to meet and/or exceed established sales goals (demonstrated ability to develop new commercial banking relationships preferred)
  • Excellent public relations and sales skills
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Well-developed decision-making and persuasion skills
  • Ability to build and maintain an average $30 million pipeline
  • Expected annual loan origination volume of $75MM to $100MM per year

Education:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college with a business, economics, finance or related degree or equivalent experience.
