The Retail Banking Development Officer strengthens sales performance across the branch network by coaching Relationship Bankers and improving customer engagement. This role helps teams build deeper relationships, grow business results, and develop professionally. You'll have a direct impact on both colleague success and overall retail growth.

Key Accountabilities

  • Coach Relationship Bankers through one-on-one and group sessions to improve sales and relationship-building skills

  • Conduct in-branch observations and deliver real-time, actionable feedback to drive performance

  • Analyze sales metrics to identify trends and create targeted development plans

  • Partner with branch leaders to improve team effectiveness and achieve business goals

  • Facilitate training sessions on sales techniques, products, and customer engagement

  • Support consistent execution of sales processes and tools across branches

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align training with business strategies

Education & Experience

Required

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Business, Finance, HR, or related field

  • 5+ years of experience in retail banking, financial services, or sales coaching

  • 2+ years of success in a customer-facing banking role such as Branch Manager, Market Manager, or similar role

  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel between branch locations

Preferred

  • Successful multi-branch experience with proven experience within a sales leadership role
