MTPS Business Analyst 


On behalf of our client, Procom Services is searching for a MTPS Business Analyst for a contract opportunity in Durham, NC.


MTPS Business Analyst Job Details


Supports multiple active projects for business requirements analysis, project documentation and support for transition into production-level delivery environments. 


Collects, translates and analyses IT project business requirements into functional specifications. 

Documents user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify systems.

Works closely with project managers to prepare project-phase plans and implementation schedules.

Other duties may include documenting workflows and recording business analysis results.

Obtaining contracts or sign-off from customers to start the proposed project.

Explaining to external clients any problems related to software functionality and other issues throughout the development stage.

Assists in monitoring progress of project to ensure agreed deadlines are met; as well as producing weekly progress reports and submitting to clients and project managers, among others. 

Qualifications

MTPS Business Analyst Mandatory Skills


Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, solid organizational skills.

Strong documentation skills, technical writing skills - with fluency in IT data center environments, functions and terminology.

Strong experience in team collaboration.

Excellent understanding of business systems and infrastructure industry requirements.

Advanced knowledge in writing project requirements and project documentation from start to finish.

Ability to relay technical information clearly to staff.

Clearly understands project designs with specifications and deliverables.

3-6 years specific experience required, prior experience working in technical environments developing requirements required.

BS in Business, Computer Science or equivalent training and experience.
