Job description

The Property & Casualty project portfolio requires a Business Analyst specializing in delivery. This portfolio plays a key role in contributing to the analysis of business and technology solutions in property and casualty insurance, covering the personal, commercial, claims, brokerage, direct sales, and affiliated agent sectors. The Business Analyst will collaborate with Product Owners to analyze internal client needs, facilitate solution definition workshops, and document processes and solutions. Please note that we are currently undergoing an ongoing organizational transformation.

The Business Analyst will collaborate with the business team and the Billing train Product Owner to gather, synthesize, simplify, and clearly express billing and collection requirements within the Guidewire Billing module. Specifically, the analyst will:

  • Clarify the context related to the requirements (stakeholders, understanding of the problem, etc.),
  • Identify and analyze business needs to achieve established objectives and maximize added value,
  • Collaborate closely with the various departments involved and coordinate their efforts,
  • Support stakeholders in implementing technological improvements for business solutions,
  • Provide support to technical teams during the execution of initiatives,
  • Formulate recommendations to the Project Manager,
  • Write processes and procedures, - Develop working prototypes,
  • Participate in acceptance testing,
  • Contribute to change management


Requirements

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of the property and casualty insurance collection process;
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience with the Guidewire Billing module;
  • Experience with the Guidewire Policy Center module;
  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and the Office 365 suite;
  • Fluency in spoken and written French;
  • Ability to work effectively in a team;
  • IIBA certification (an asset)
  • LOMA certification (an asset)
  • Experience with SAFe and Agile methodologies;
  • University degree or equivalent;
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, including 2 years in project management;
  • Ability to work independently in a complex and fast-paced environment;
  • SAFe certification (an asset);
  • PAA or FPAA designation (an asset);
  • Desired skills: (Autonomy - Rigor - Collaboration - Critical thinking - Agility - Abstract reasoning skills
