Tax Specialist
LHH Jacksonville, Florida, United States (Hybrid)
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Tax Analyst at our top tier banking client in Jacksonville, Florida.
Qualified candidates will have experience with tax operations within a brokerage, investment banking, or financial services environment, particularly those supporting U.S. Information Reporting & Withholding (IRW) functions. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with 1 042-S and 1099 reporting, FATCA, Chapters 3, 4, and 61 regulations, and withholding tax processes, along with the ability to investigate and resolve complex tax-related issues.
Individuals who have supported Prime Brokerage, Global Markets, Securities Operations, or Client Tax Services teams, demonstrated strong attention to regulatory controls and risk management, and regularly interacted with internal stakeholders and clients to address tax inquiries, escalations, and reporting requirements.
Strong analytical skills, experience with metrics and quality assurance reporting, and the ability to navigate cross-functional and global environments are also important indicators of success in this role.
Description:
This job is responsible for the analysis and resolution of tax operations processes and issues that require coordination of multiple stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform US IRW Tax Withholding and Reporting function

  • Liaise with associates at all levels across global locations
