Summary:


The Business Analyst Intern will assist in implementing technology solutions to help businesses operate more efficiently and cost-effectively. You will be responsible for gathering and communicating project requirements, supporting business processes, and assisting in maintaining corporate databases and financial applications. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in business & systems analysis, and project management.

Specific Responsibilities:

Process Visibility & Improvement

  • Assist in documenting operational processes and workflows

  • Help compare current performance with expected standards

  • Support continuous improvement efforts focused on visibility, consistency, and reporting accuracy

Cost & Efficiency Awareness

  • Assist in reviewing operational cost and productivity data

  • Help connect service performance with cost impact through basic analysis

  • Support the identification of process or workflow improvements that may increase efficiency

Operational Performance & KPI Support

  • Help track key operational metrics such as on-time performance, shipment flow, dwell time, dock activity, backlog, and service issues

  • Assist in reviewing data to identify trends, gaps, and performance risks

  • Support maintenance of KPI dashboards and routine performance reports

Job Requirements:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective presentation and documentation.

  • Proactive, self-starter with the ability to lead projects and teams effectively.

  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills.

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio, Word).

  • Strong analytical skills, with experience in spreadsheet management.

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • High energy, well-organized, and detail-oriented with excellent follow-through.

  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to think critically.

  • Goal-oriented and driven to succeed.

Education and Experience:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Supply Chain or a related field.

  • Experience with business analysis, project management, or financial applications is a plus, but not required.

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office products.

This internship offers valuable insight into how operational data is used in larger business and facility decisions. Interns will observe how performance, cost, and workflow metrics support improvement initiatives and assist with basic data gathering for broader operational projects under leadership guidance.

Pay Range:

$25,00 - $28.00*

*The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
