Portland Community College is accepting applications to be considered for Part-Time Faculty assignments in Business Administration: Accounting and Finance.
Business Courses are offered in multiple modes of instruction. Anticipated need is for faculty who are able to teach courses face-to-face on-site at one or more main campuses: Sylvania, Rock Creek, Southeast, and Cascade as well as online.
Please note, this is NOT an announcement of a specific open position, but a Part-time Faculty Interest Pool, from which the program will identify applicants based on course assignment needs during the Academic Year.

Instructor Qualifications
- Master's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics or other business-related field; completed at least 30 quarter hours of accounting credits (undergraduate or graduate); three years of full-time equivalent non-teaching accounting work experience required; and CPA or CMA licensing and prior teaching experience is preferred
OR
- Hold a post baccalaureate certificate in accounting or a bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics or other business-related field; completed at least 30 quarter hours of accounting credits (undergraduate or graduate); and over three years of full-time equivalent non-teaching accounting work experience and CPA or CMA licensing. Teaching experience is preferred.

Newly hired Part-time Faculty at PCC will generally start at Step 1 of the current salary schedule.
Hourly rates are determine based upon the type of course taught (Lecture, Lab, or Lecture/Lab).
