Job description

Landscaping by J. Michael is looking for an experienced Sales/Account Manager to join our team in our Marshfield office.

The ideal candidate comes with experience in account management and developing new business opportunities among both existing and new customers. Excellent cross‑functional experience working with customer service and product development to improve the entire customer experience is a critical factor in this role.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee customer account management – Includes developing new business along with negotiating contracts and agreements to maximize profits.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally – Work closely with the team to achieve goals while keeping clients satisfied and engaged with products and services.
  • Ensure delivery to customers – Facilitate the timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
  • Sales - Ability to upsell and seek new opportunities for business with existing and new clients.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years account management experience in both residential and commercial outdoor maintenance work.
  • Bachelor degree preferred, will consider Associate degree in horticulture or environmental field.
  • MLP or MCH certification a plus.
  • Current pesticide applicator license preferred.
  • Experience in project assessment and estimates.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and listening skills.
  • Professional client interaction and negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail and consistent client follow-through.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft office and other technologies.
