About the Role: Regional Operations Manager
Are you a highly motivated and experienced operations leader with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences? Do you excel at driving efficiency and managing multi-location operations in a fast-paced, dynamic environment?
As our Regional Operations Manager for Tea Around Town, you'll be the linchpin of our operational success across Texas, Georgia, and other assigned states. You'll be fully accountable for the entire Tea Around Town experience, from ensuring flawless execution of every detail to optimizing operational efficiency. Reporting directly to the Director of Operations, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting our ambitious growth plans, leading cross-functional teams, and guaranteeing the seamless delivery of our unique mobile tea room experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and Elevate the Entire Experience: Take full ownership of all Tea Around Town operations (both front and back of house) across 5-6 markets, ensuring flawless product execution and consistently delivering a world-class, white-glove experience on every single trip.
  • Drive Financial Performance: Analyze daily, weekly, and monthly reports to proactively manage labor, inventory, and cost controls, consistently achieving cost efficiency and exceeding product financial goals for each assigned location.
  • Financial Stewardship: Collaborate closely with the finance team to develop and manage operational budgets, monitor expenditures, identify cost-saving opportunities, and uphold financial discipline.
  • Lead and Develop High-Performing Teams: Recruit, hire, train, schedule, manage, and continuously monitor and optimize the performance of all operational staff, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
  • Optimize Operational Efficiency & Scalability: Develop and streamline procedures and processes to support rapid product scalability. Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies, proposing and implementing enhancements to maximize resource utilization and increase cost efficiency.
  • Strategic Vendor Management: Manage all operations for assigned locations, including oversight of internal teams and performance management of key vendors such as the caterer, maintenance facility. Ensure vendors meet service expectations and cost targets; identify and onboard new vendors as needed to maintain operational excellence.
  • Collaborate for Success: Work seamlessly with cross-functional teams across the organization to execute product changes, promotions, press events, and new product launches, fostering productive relationships and promoting inter-departmental synergy.
  • Enhance Customer Satisfaction: Proactively gather and analyze customer feedback from various channels, translating insights into actionable changes to continuously improve the customer experience.
  • Uphold Uncompromising Standards: Ensure consistent adherence to Tea Around Town's high standards of food quality, service, and guest experience. Refine quality assurance procedures, identify gaps, and implement timely corrective actions.
  • Manage Inventory & Mitigate Risk: Oversee meticulous inventory management through regular cycle counts and maintenance activities, ensuring accuracy. Identify potential operational risks and develop robust contingency plans to ensure business continuity.

Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Restaurant/Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: A minimum of 10 years of management experience in multi-location, upscale chain restaurants or high-volume food & beverage operations.
  • Hands-On Leadership: A highly hands-on approach with strong, decisive problem-solving capabilities, even under pressure.
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Demonstrated ability to leverage data and analytics to inform strategic decisions and drive operational improvements.
  • Adaptability: Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and swiftly adapt to evolving business needs.
  • Team Leadership: Exceptional abilities in building, motivating, and leading high-performing operational teams.
  • Communication & Organization: Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), strong organizational abilities, and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Availability: Work 50+ hours a week, including weekends and holidays, as needed to support operations.
  • Travel: Ability to travel 50% of the time across your assigned territory.
  • Location: This position is based in Dallas, TX, with the specific territory to be assigned.
