The JADCO Production Worker will have a background in the heavy industrial or metal manufacturing environment with a strong knowledge of quality and will enjoy working in a shop that appreciates a sense of humor.

What will I do?

  • Operate overhead crane to load, unload and position material using lifting magnets, chains and/or straps.
  • Study blueprints, layouts, sketches, and/or travelers to assess product specifications and drawing instructions, tools and materials needed, and sequences of operations.
  • Compute dimensions, tolerances, and angles of steel products or machines, according to specifications and knowledge of metal properties and shop mathematics.
  • Adhere to all safety requirements and protocols.
 

Job Qualifications & Requirements:

  • High school degree or equivalent is preferred
  • Knowledge and ability to safely use equipment and tools
  • Perform basic measurements
  • Regularly perform physical labor
  • Follow and communicate written and oral instructions
  • Prior manufacturing or industrial experience is helpful
  • Machine operation experience in a production environment is preferred
