James B. Beam American Outpost Experience Ambassador (Clermont, KY)

Join the Jim Beam family as a Distillery Ambassador at our historic Clermont, KY distillery. As an Experience Ambassador, you'll be the face of Jim Beam, sharing our rich heritage and the art of bourbon-making with visitors from around the globe. You'll lead captivating tours, guide engaging tastings, and provide exceptional hospitality, all while immersing guests in the world of America's #1 bourbon. This role requires weekend and holiday availability.
What You'll Do:
Primary Responsibilities (Hospitality and Experiences)
Lead immersive distillery tours: Guide visitors through the heart of our distillery, showcasing each stage of the bourbon-making process, from grain to glass, and sharing the legendary Beam family history.
Host engaging tastings: Educate guests about our diverse bourbon portfolio through interactive tasting experiences at the American Outpost and within our retail store's tasting bar.
Deliver exceptional hospitality: Provide top-notch customer service, answering questions, offering recommendations, and ensuring every visitor has a positive and memorable experience.
Manage visitor flow: Efficiently manage tour groups, ensuring a smooth and safe experience for all guests.
Provide front desk support: Welcome guests, manage check-in and bookings, and respond to inquiries with professionalism and enthusiasm.
Secondary Responsibilities (Retail and Events)
Drive retail sales: Process transactions, manage inventory, and maintain attractive merchandise displays in our retail store.
Support special events: Assist with on-site and off-site events, contributing to the overall success of our brand activations.
Enhance our social media presence: Contribute to positive online reviews and social media engagement by providing outstanding visitor experiences.
Contribute to daily operations: Assist with tasting setup/teardown, general facility maintenance, and other tasks as needed.
What You'll Bring to the Table:
• Exceptional presentation and storytelling abilities with a knack for educating and entertaining.
• A genuine passion for bourbon, whiskey, and Kentucky's rich cultural heritage.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with diverse audiences.
• A positive, energetic, and friendly personality with a strong work ethic.
• The ability to think quickly on your feet and handle various situations with professionalism and grace.
• A strong customer service mindset and a dedication to teamwork.
• The ability to stand for extended periods (up to 6 hours) and lift up to 44 lbs.
• Excellent command of the English language.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Previous experience in the beverage alcohol industry, tourism, or hospitality.
• Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications.
• Bilingual skills.
• Bartending experience or CDL certification.
The Work Environment:
This role involves moderate lifting and carrying (15-44 lbs), standing for extended periods, walking, and working in both indoor and outdoor environments. You may encounter varying temperatures, humidity, and uneven walking surfaces. The work environment also involves working around machinery with moving parts.
