Job description

PROGNOST is currently seeking a Consultancy Specialist. This role is responsible for delivering quality machinery diagnostic, system maintenance, and technical support to end users of PROGNOST-NT and PROGNOST-Predictor on-line condition monitoring and machine protection systems.
This role blends engineering expertise, client-facing communication, and strategic thinking in a high-impact, and global environment
Key Responsibilities
  • Work safely and promote a safe working environment.
  • Provide machinery analysis, diagnostics, and technical support for customer's rotating equipment using Prognost products.
  • Power user of Prognost software products.
  • Develop warning thresholds based on trend analysis.
  • Planning, preparing, and executing onsite system maintenance on existing systems and computer hardware, providing hardware and software support and troubleshooting, verifying proper installation of field wiring and senso installation by customer OEM.
  • Train users on PROGNOST software (both initial and advanced levels).
  • Computer network troubleshooting.
  • Instrumentation troubleshooting.
  • Respond to customer requests for hardware, software, and mechanical analysis support.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Customer Support, Project Management, R&D, Sales, etc.).
  • Build and maintain personal relationships with clients.
  • Ensure timely delivery of quality services.
  • Accurate record keeping of tasks, issues, and reporting in CRM.
  • Support customers via telephone helpdesk and manage outstanding issues in an internal incident database.
  • Approximately 50% of travel is required

Education / Experience / Language
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in technical consulting, vibration diagnostics, monitoring, reliability engineering, or industrial diagnostics.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Familiarity with IIoT systems, condition monitoring, or rotating equipment preferred.
  • Willingness to travel internationally (up to 30%)
  • Office Suite (Excel, Pivot Tables, Word)
