About You

We are looking for a custodian to join our team! The right candidate will have a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, time-management skills, and organizational skills.

Primary Accountabilities

The day-to-day duties of this role include:

  • Service, clean, or supply restrooms
  • Gather and empty trash
  • Clean windows, glass partitions, or mirrors
  • Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, polishing, or vacuuming
  • Steam-clean or shampoo carpets
  • Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems
  • Requisition supplies or equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties
  • Clean, dust, and polish furniture and fixtures
  • Remove snow from sidewalks, using snowplows, snow blowers, snow shovels, or spread snow-melting chemicals
  • Set up, arrange, or remove decorations, tables, chairs, ladders, or scaffolding to prepare facilities for events, such as banquets or meetings
    • Move heavy furniture, equipment, or supplies, either manually or with hand trucks
