Assistant Director of Building Operations
Salary : 
$103,809--This position is considered Non Affiliated Exempt from overtime. In addition to base salary this position has 13 paid holidays, accrues 25 vacation days per fiscal year and 1.5 sick leave days per month.  There is an employer paid life insurance policy worth $200,000 and employer paid long term disability plan.  Dental premiums are fully paid by the District and medical follows the non-teacher rate schedule here.  Finally, the District provides a post-retirement HRA contribution of $2,500 per fiscal year and 403(b) match up to $3,500.  Please read more about the benefits here.

Work Week Schedule: 
40 hours per week, 260 working days per year, 12 month 
Position Summary:
The Assistant Director of Building Operations is responsible for the difficult professional work directing, planning, implementing and supervising facilities engineering, construction, maintenance and support services including building, grounds and equipment maintenance, purchasing and environmental services, and related work as apparent or assigned. The Assistant Director will manage custodial services, including hiring and onboarding, professional development, and performance evaluations.  Work is performed under the general direction of the Director of Building Operations.  Departmental supervision is exercised over all personnel within the department. The Assistant Director of Building Operations reports to the Director of Building Operations.
Educational and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, facilities management, HVAC, construction, engineering, or related
field and considerable experience in administration, facilities management, HVAC, construction, engineering, or
equivalent combination of education and experience.  Class C- Chiefs Boilers License strongly preferred, ability to obtain Class C- Chiefs Boiler License within a year required.
