Counter Sales/Key Holder needed for a local lumberyard! Opportunity to learn and grow within the company!
Full-time position
Join our Team!  Builders is a locally owned and growing company serving the Nebraska and surrounding markets.  We provide customer service in a great, fast paced environment with opportunity for personal growth!   Specialize in lumber, building materials, doors, windows, tools and other construction supplies.

Hours:  We are open Monday – Friday.  No Saturdays or Sundays!  No late nights!


Location:  Builders - 824 S Webb Rd, Grand Island, NE.


The Counter Sales/Key Holder position handles the daily walk-in contractors and customers.  You will get to:

  • Assist contractors and customers with lumber and building materials.
  • Learn about doors, windows, siding, decks, lumber, tools and other accessories.
  • Gain working knowledge of products and vendors.
  • Place special orders as needed.
  • Utilize our computer programs.
  • Assist in other departments as needed.
  • Assist management in closing the store.
  • And much more!

We are looking for: 

  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office, primarily Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to effectively present information one on one and small group situations.
  • Ability to perform routine mathematical calculations.
  • Ability to carry out written or oral instructions.
  • Good interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Good organizational skills.
