Job Description
Role includes developing and preparing structural design calculations and construction plans for submittal on rehabilitation of existing and new facilities projects throughout the East Coast.
Successful candidate must be a licensed Professional Engineer and technically well-versed with a minimum of 8 years of building structural experience including successful Project Engineer / Project Management in the A/E/C field.
Responsibilities include providing a high quality product and superior client service through:
โ€ข Planning, scheduling, coordinating successful delivery of projects, on time & budget.
โ€ข Attending meetings with clients, owners, architects & building managers.
โ€ข Leading technical designs from project kickoff to punch list.
โ€ข Interpreting/assuring compliance with all federal, state & local codes.
โ€ข Adhering to QA/QC process & providing final review of project documents.
โ€ข Assisting with business development, client management & proposal development.
Qualifications
โ€ข Bachelor's in Civil/Structural Engineering with MS preferred.
โ€ข Professional Engineer (PE) licensure required, ideally for FL OR eligible to obtain.
โ€ข Solid technical background, 8+ years of Structural engineering experience.
โ€ข Previous successful project engineer experience.
โ€ข Strong communication & good organizational skills.
โ€ข Familiarity with National Building Codes, Specs, Design standards and Revit BIM software.
