About the Role:
Make an impact where it matters most! As a CBRE Senior Maintenance Technician, you'll help create safe, efficient spaces for the communities we serve by maintaining and improving building systems. This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.
What You'll Do:
  • Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repair on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
  • Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
  • Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
  • Assign work orders and estimate the time and materials needed to complete repairs.
  • Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
  • Inspect new installations for compliance with building codes and safety laws.
  • Have some knowledge of standard principles with limited practical experience in applying them.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
  • Impact the quality of own work.
  • Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
  • Exchange straightforward information, ask questions, and check for understanding.

What You'll Need:
  • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma or equivalent experience with 2-3 years of job-related experience.
  • Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
  • Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
  • Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive approach.
