Job Summary:
As a BMS Service Technician, you will perform duties that range from general troubleshooting on customer systems to support on BMS / low-voltage projects. You will be part of a team while also maintaining an independent role with a focus on ownership and organization throughout the entire service order process.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage your personal WIP (Work in Progress) Service Orders from generation through completion.
  • Be a customer advocate while on your field service visits
  • Read and interpret Control, Mechanical, Electrical drawings and circuit diagrams as needed
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose BMS systems and networks to automate building systems.
  • Program and commission BMS systems.
  • Replace and/or repair building automation control equipment and devices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • 5-6 years of experience preferred but not required.
  • LEB preferred but not required
  • Experience in the building controls automation industry preferred but not required.
  • Experience in the light commercial / Residential HVAC industry preferred but not required.
  • Tech-Savvy with computers.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent command of the English language, both written and oral.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Commercial/construction service experience a plus.
  • Class C driver's license and clean driver's record.
