Come join our Maintenance and Engineering Team! We are looking for a Building Automation Systems Technician who is looking to grow their skills and has the willingness to listen and learn. Job Overview: Maintains and expands building automation systems (BAS) to maintain and increase energy and labor efficiencies, and to sustain and improve the comfort level of guests and team members. Maintains and improves building fire and life safety systems to ensure a safe environment for guests and team members.
Illuminate Your Future: What You'll Do:
  • Maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs BAS components and network.
  • Expands the BAS system to improve guest and team member comfort levels on the property.
  • Completes computer program developments and revisions as it pertains to BAS.
  • Performs data tracking, logging, and reporting related to BAS.
  • Assists in testing and repairing of all fire and life safety systems.
  • Communicates all necessary information pertaining to BAS to Engineering & Maintenance management. This includes equipment breakdowns or malfunctions, pending projects, and safety concerns.
  • Expands the BAS system to include power and communication monitoring.
  • Responds to and assists in all building, equipment, or systems emergency situations involving the Engineering and Maintenance department.
  • Documents work utilizing computerized maintenance management system

Job Requirements:
  • A combination of education and experience to equal five years in HVAC & R, including two years' BAS experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in spreadsheets, database, and electronic mail software, including BAS software.
  • Working knowledge of airflow control systems, including variable air volume dampers and duct heaters.
  • Valid Class D driver's license may be required with a good driving record.
  • Industrial Truck Driving (Forklift) permit may be required.
  • Niagara N4 experience is a bonus.
