Job description

Hiring: Sr. Reliability Engineer – Medical Device Industry

Location: Mounds View, MN (fully onsite)

Type: W2 contract

Duration: 6+ months


Key Skills Required:

Manufacturing Reliability & Manufacturing Support

Root Cause Analysis, Failure Investigation & CAPA

Risk Management (FMEA, FTA, DOE, SPC)

Statistical Analysis (Minitab, JMP preferred)

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Project Support

Quality Systems & Post-Market Quality Support

Medical Device or Other Regulated Industry Experience


Responsibilities:

Support multiple manufacturing sites as a Reliability Engineering representative.

Lead reliability assessments, failure investigations, and corrective action initiatives.

Analyze manufacturing and field performance data to improve product quality and reduce risk.

Partner with Manufacturing, Quality, Operations, Supplier Quality, and R&D teams to drive continuous improvement.

Support product transfers, manufacturing readiness, and post-market quality activities.


Preferred Background:

Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Quality, or related Engineering field.

5–15 years of Reliability, Manufacturing, Quality, or Product Engineering experience.

Experience in Medical Devices, Pharma, Aerospace, Automotive, or other regulated industries.

Knowledge of FDA, ISO 13485, ISO 14971, GMP, and Reliability Engineering methodologies.
