Job description

Tabs is the leading AI-native revenue platform for modern finance and accounting teams. Tabs agents automate the entire contract-to-cash lifecycle, including billing, collections, revenue recognition, and reporting, to help teams eliminate manual work and accelerate cash flow.

High-growth companies like Cursor and Statsig rely on Tabs to generate invoices directly from contracts, reconcile payments in real time, and automate ASC 606 compliance.

Founded in 2023, Tabs has raised over $91 million from Lightspeed Venture Partners, General Catalyst, and Primary. The team is headquartered in New York and brings deep expertise in finance and AI.

About the Role

We're hiring a Sales Manager in New York to lead a segment of our Account Executive team. If you want to join an exceptional team early and build something that lasts — this is it.

You'll develop and coach AEs, drive consistent revenue performance, and help shape how we go to market. You'll work directly with Executive Leadership and cross-functional partners to give the team the structure and support to win. And you'll have real influence over how we scale — the motion, the team, the culture.

We move fast. We hold ourselves accountable. We build things that work.

What You’ll Do

Lead & Develop the Team Manage, coach, and develop a team of Account Executives to consistently achieve and exceed revenue targets.

Pipeline & Forecast Management Run regular pipeline reviews and forecasting to drive strong deal execution, accurate projections, and consistent pipeline generation.

Deal Strategy & Coaching Partner with AEs on deal strategy, discovery, and positioning to move complex opportunities forward and improve win rates.

Build Sales Excellence Establish and reinforce strong sales fundamentals — methodology, process, and consistent execution across the team.

Recruit & Develop Talent Attract, hire, and ramp top AE talent. Build a high-performance, collaborative culture. We're especially interested in leaders who have a network of strong AEs they'd want to work with again.

Collaborate Cross-Functionally Partner with Solutions Consulting, Product, Marketing, and Executive Leadership to share market feedback, sharpen messaging, and strengthen our sales motion.

Who You Are

Sales Leader. You have a track record of leading B2B sales teams and helping AEs hit and exceed their goals.

Player-Coach. You're in the details — reviewing deals, coaching discovery, helping reps get better.

Operationally Strong. You bring rigor to forecasting, pipeline management, and process execution.

Builder Mentality. You're energized by early-stage environments where processes are still being written and your impact is visible.

High Ownership. You bring energy, accountability, and a bias toward action — especially when things are moving fast.

Experience

2+ years of sales management experience

Strong background as an Account Executive, ideally at a high-growth or early-stage startup

Proven ability to hire and ramp AEs — and a network of strong reps who'd follow you

Experience with a structured sales methodology and the discipline to coach it consistently

Experience selling into Finance or Accounting leaders is a plus
