Job description

1.Communicates with Scaffold Builders and others to perform tasks.
2. Selects proper size and type of building materials according to the project specifications and dimensions


3. Plans the installation to avoid obstructions and to avoid interfering with activities of the other workers.
4.

Assembles cut and shaped materials by fastening them together with nails, scaffold pins.
5. Verifies the trueness of a structure using a plumb bob and carpenters level.


6. Erects framework for structures.
7.

Erects scaffolding and ladders for assembling structures above ground level.
8. Loads transports, unloads materials, tools, equipment, and supplies.


9. May assist in lifting, positioning, and securing of materials and work pieces during installation.
10.

Clean and perform minor maintenance activities on tools and equipment.
11. Maintains a clean and safe work environment.


12. Restocks supplies and materials as necessary.
13.

Must be able to safely traverse uneven terrain with tools and building materials.
14. Must be able to climb vertical ladders and work above/below ground as necessary.


15. Performs a variety of tasks involving safe dexterous use of hand tools.
16.

Safely operates power tools and equipment.
17. Adheres to all safety procedures.


18. Typically requires a minimum of 6 years industrial construction experience.
