What You’ll Do

As our Commercial HVAC Technician, you will be the technical anchor for our campus. You will act as a lead HVAC Service Technician, responsible for the comfort and safety of students, faculty, and staff across all residential and academic facilities.

  • Inspect, maintain, and repair commercial systems including RTUs, split systems, chillers, boilers, and exhaust systems.

  • Serve as the campus HVAC Mechanic, diagnosing complex mechanical and electrical issues and implementing effective repairs.

  • Execute seasonal system changeovers and preventative maintenance tasks aligned with asset lifecycle goals.

  • Utilize our CMMS platform to track work orders and document maintenance activities with precision.

  • Support campus events by ensuring HVAC systems meet occupancy demands while maintaining a professional, customer-service mindset.

What You Bring To The Team
  • Experience: 3+ years of proven success in commercial HVAC maintenance and repair.

  • Education: Trade school or technical certification in HVAC.

  • Technical Skills: Ability to read/interpret blueprints and schematics; strong knowledge of commercial controls.

  • Physical Ability: Must be able to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in mechanical rooms or on rooftops in varying weather.

  • Professionalism: Discretion and professionalism are required for working in residential life and dormitory environments.
