Pharmacist Position at Broward Health Medical Center

Sign-On Bonus - $10k!

Location: Broward Health Medical Center 1600 S. Andrews Avenue Ft. Lauderdale FL 33316

Work Details: Full-time FTE: 1.0 – 40hrs. per week Schedule: Evenings

Job Summary: Dispenses and monitors medications and other pharmaceuticals as ordered by qualified prescribers and provides interpretation and information education. Provide safe high quality pharmaceutical care to the patient. Supports all JCAHO initiatives and programs and keeps abreast of the changes.

Job Qualifications: A. Education (or equivalent years of experience): Required for consideration Pharm.D. or bachelor's degree obtained through a formal 5-year program. B. Experience (or equivalent education): No Experience Required C. Licensure Required for consideration: Florida Pharmacy

Comprehensive Benefits: Enroll in Medical Dental Vision and other voluntary plans within 30 days of hire. Coverage becomes effective on the first day of the month following your start date. Build Your Financial Future: 403(b) Retirement Plan with employer match - Contribute 5% and receive up to 2.4% from Broward Health Pension Plan - Eligible after one year of service. Receive 5% of your salary contributed from Broward Health with NO required contribution on your part to receive the 5% contribution. Fully vested after 5 years of service. Paid Time Off: 23 days per year to start Accrues biweekly Increases after five years of service Available after a 90-day introductory period Paid Sick Leave: 5 days in your first six months Up to 15 days annually from six months through four years
