What is a broiler farm?

A broiler farm is a type of poultry farm that is specifically dedicated to raising chickens, known as broilers, for meat production. These farms are designed to optimize the growth rate, health, and well-being of the birds through controlled environments, specialized nutrition, and efficient management practices. Broiler farms can range in size from small family-run operations to large commercial facilities, and they play a crucial role in the supply of chicken meat to markets and consumers. The primary focus is to raise healthy chickens quickly and efficiently while adhering to animal welfare and food safety standards.
