This position ensures that hot work, confined space work, fresh air work, and basic labor work are being performed safely.

Responsibilities
The ideal candidate is experienced in this discipline and has all the required and appropriate training and qualifications necessary to oversee safety-sensitive work being performed, which includes the set up and preparation for hot work, confined space work and fresh air work. Basic operation of equipment required for basic tasks that may be performed. Company and site-specific training will be offered for the successful candidate.
Qualifications
  • TWIC card and previous refinery experience REQUIRED.

  • Minimum 6 months experience in an industrial environment.

  • Basic knowledge of proper use and care of small tools and equipment.

  • Trained and knowledgeable on good safety practices, and potential hazards in work sites.

  • Is able to read and understand any restrictions or requirements spelled out on various types of work permits and Job Hazard Analyses (JHA).

  • Must be able to wear respiratory protection including 1/2 face, Full Face, Fresh air.
