The County of Kern, California, is seeking an experienced and transparent Registrar of Voters to oversee all federal, state, and local elections and ensure the integrity, accessibility, and efficiency of the electoral process. This role leads the County's newly established Elections Department, which was recently separated from the Auditor-Controller-County Clerk's Office, and plays a critical part in upholding public trust through accurate, secure, and compliant election administration. As a key partner to the Board of Supervisors and the community, the Registrar of Voters guides a high-profile and essential public function, balancing operational excellence with clear, responsive communication in a dynamic and visible environment.
