Job description

Broadcast Traffic Coordinator
Ft Myers Broadcasting Company has an immediate opening for an onsite Broadcast Traffic Coordinator for its Radio and TV properties.
Responsibilities include all aspects of traffic: Log preparation and reconciliation; maintaining media and entering copy instructions; entering programming formats.
  • Primary responsibilities include acquisition and download of local and national commercial material and entering copy instructions
  • Preparation of daily commercial logs, maintaining inventory and daily reconciliation for billing
  • Interfaces with Sales Management regarding inventory issues
  • Collaborates with management, Account Executives and Sales Support to ensure commercial spots are executed in accordance with contract provisions
  • Works directly with AE's, the production department, agencies and commercial providers to ensure all instructions and spots are received, input and delivered in a timely manner
  • Monitors changes and resolves Traffic department discrepancies
  • Plans and schedules to meet all require deadlines with great attention to detail
  • Experience with Wide Orbit Traffic software is an asset but not a requirement
  • Individuals should have excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to work independently as well as enjoy working in a team environment.
  • Ability to meet deadlines with great attention to detail.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to sit or work at a computer for extended periods.
  • Clear verbal and written communication in person, by phone, and via video.
  • Able to lift up to 15 pounds.
  • Visual and auditory ability to operate standard office equipment.
