Job description

OVERVIEW
The Bridge Church is a multisite church in Middle Tennessee that exists to be with Jesus and become like Him for the sake of the world. We are located in a growing community with a passion to reach our city with the gospel.
ROLE SUMMARY
The Facilities Coordinator role exists to be a good steward of the building God has given us that we call The Bridge Church. Our campuses need TLC everyday of the week from general maintenance to supporting another ministry area to bringing a dream to reality all while stewarding resources in a conservative manner. This role comes alongside our mission of Being with Jesus and Becoming more like Him for the sake of the world.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Strong and growing personal commitment to Jesus Christ
  • Fulfill the membership requirements of The Bridge (commit to model joyful generosity by tithing)

  • Good communication
  • Understanding of trade skills including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, framing, janitorial etc.
  • Honest and trustworthy

Roles and Responsibilities (est. of weekly hrs)
  • Build, oversee and invest into a team of volunteers. This team needs opportunities to serve during the week and Sunday services. (2 hrs)
  • Be present for Sunday services in Spring Hill or Columbia campus . Responsibilities on a Sunday would be connecting with volunteers, problem solving, assisting all ministry teams to help make sure services run smoothly. (5-7 hrs)
  • Attend and contribute to meetings such as Huddle, Tactical, Central Ops Team, 1 on 1's and special events

(2 hrs)
  • Build relationships and manage the maintenance services including: (1 hrs)

- HVAC
-Roofing
-Fire safety
-Lawn/grounds
-Pest control
-Janitorial
  • Maintain stock of all cleaning supplies and the equipment needed for projects (2 hr)
  • Work with contracted cleaning employees to help keep the buildings a distraction free environment (8-10 hrs)
  • Help maintain the facilities general budget with guidance and direction from the finance team (.5 hrs)
  • Learn processes and procedures of how ministry teams operate in order to understand efficiency in all areas of the building (.5 hrs)
  • Embody the staff behaviors by living them out not just at your job but in your everyday life (endless hrs)

SCHEDULE: Sunday - Thursday HOURS: 25 hrs
STAFF LEVEL: Coordinator, reports to the Facilities Director
