OVERVIEW
The Bridge Church is a multisite church in Middle Tennessee that exists to be with Jesus and become like Him for the sake of the world. We are located in a growing community with a passion to reach our city with the gospel.
ROLE SUMMARY
The Groups and Care Coordinator position exists to lead the women of the Bridge and oversee community building within our church through groups, events and classes. This woman will work closely with the Groups and Formation Director to ensure connection and care are available to every person in our church.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Looking for a female to fill this role
  • Strong and growing personal commitment to Jesus Christ
  • Fulfill the membership requirements of The Bridge (commit to model joyful generosity by tithing)
  • Has experience with Womens Ministry or growing a thriving Womens Groups culture
  • Ability to see and articulate the Leadership Behaviors of The Bridge
  • Feel called to serve at The Bridge Church and desire to invest their life into Middle Tennessee
  • A proven ability to build teams and attract people toward a vision
  • The ability to effectively communicate publicly and interpersonally
  • Strong relational capacity that others want to work with and great communication skills
  • Excellent organizational leader, with a driven personality that will display leadership when given a goal to work towards.

SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Attend to the weekly duties of pastoral care within the Bridge, including attending meetings with the care team and meeting with people one on one for pastoral counsel.
  • Oversee the groups network at the Bridge, including regular touch points with group leaders and coaches.
  • Assist the groups team in producing weekly sermon-based group content.
  • Facilitate Monday night women's Bible study when in session at both our Columbia and our Spring Hill location.
  • Plan and Execute two group leader gatherings and two group leader celebrations a year.
  • Each semester, in conjunction with Groups and Formation Director, recruit new group leaders and build our group leadership roster.
  • Maintain and oversee our group coaches for both locations.
  • Oversee and execute summer curriculum at the Bridge.
  • Help execute roster pulls at the end of each group semester.
  • Facilitate and oversee the "Bridge Women's" Facebook page.
  • Assist Groups and Formation Director with any additional requests & duties

SCHEDULE: Sunday - Thursday HOURS: 40+ (available for special events & meetings, etc) STAFF LEVEL:
