Job description

We are currently seeking a Jewelry Concierge to join the fastest growing jewelry company in the country. This job will be located in New York City and the position will be based in a fast-paced environment with multiple requests coming in on a daily basis.


Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for accurately submitting/verifying custom orders with vendors within a specified time-frame
  • Oversee the Special/Custom Order Process start to finish
  • Calculate and quote prices
  • Interact with both the vendors and the customers on a regular basis
  • Custom Order Specialist checks the status of orders, maintains quoted time frames, and handles any potential issues


Requirements:


  • Must have 1+ yrs jewelry industry experience
  • Must have 1+ yrs of experience with custom jobs
  • Must have basic understanding of placing CAD requests with designers, vendors and knowledge of reading CAD to get cost for pieces
  • Must be able to pass knowledge assessment during interview process
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledgeable in Excel
  • Knowledgeable in Photoshop
  • Ability to work well with a team of diverse personalities
  • Knowledge of jewelry manufacturing a plus
  • Must be able to travel to shows a minimum of three times per year
  • Must Live in New York Tri-State area
