Job description

Atwater Brewery, home of the Dirty Blonde, is looking for a front-of-house bar manager who is responsible for the overall direction of the bar. This includes managing bar staff employees and overseeing daily operations including staffing, ordering, tip pay-outs, and other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee FOH operations on a day-to-day basis
  • Recruitment and development of team members
  • Engage with our guests and ensure their satisfaction
  • Oversight of cleanliness of entire restaurant inside and out
  • Prepare end of day and opening reports and cash management
  • Optimizing profits by controlling labor & beverage costs

Experience and Requirements:

  • 5+ years of restaurant/bar experience
  • At least 21 years of age
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Developed leadership and communication
  • Passion for craft beer
  • Ability to be flexible and encourage team members during stressful environments
  • Must have the ability to accurately handle money, make the change, process credit card transactions, and have strong menu knowledge
  • Proven track record in successfully training and developing people
