Breakthrough Academy Elementary School Teacher


Fourth and Fifth Grade

At Breakthrough Academy, a new Missouri Charter School located at Operation Breakthrough, teachers are essential to ensuring that all of our students succeed academically and build strong social-emotional skills. Teachers will build inclusive classroom communities (through the use of Conscious Discipline) where students feel safe, valued, and empowered to learn every day. Teachers at our school will collaborate with STEM instructors to provide high-quality, project-based learning experiences that engage students in applying their learning to solve real world problems. While here, youโ€™ll belong to a team of passionate professionals who are dedicated to our mission of helping urban Kansas City children reach their greatest potential.


JOB SUMMARY

Breakthrough Academy is a newly approved Missouri Charter Elementary School opening in 2026. Key responsibilities include fostering a love of science, technology, engineering, math and reading through engaging, hands-on activities, while also ensuring students meet academic standards in core subjects.

QUALIFICATIONS
