• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients experiencing mood disorder symptoms, assessing their intensity, frequency, and impact on daily living.
• Collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans that encompass their unique goals and preferences.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) in your practice to ensure effective outcomes.
• Provide education and support for clients and their families regarding mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care strategies.
• Monitor client progress, documenting changes and modifying treatment plans as necessary to adapt to their evolving needs.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and medical professionals to ensure integrated and comprehensive care.
• Stay informed on the latest research and advancements in the field of mood disorder treatment to enhance your clinical skills.
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in all documentation, ensuring compliance with legal guidelines.
• Participate in ongoing case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities.
• Advocate for clients’ mental health needs and contribute to efforts aimed at reducing stigma associated with mental health conditions.

You will work with a diverse range of clients, primarily focusing on adults who are coping with mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Your role will involve understanding their unique life experiences and challenges while providing empathetic support to navigate their concerns effectively.

• Must possess a valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or related mental health field is required.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to foster a trusting therapeutic relationship with clients.
• Demonstrated empathy, compassion, and a nonjudgmental approach to client experiences.
• Strong organizational skills and time-management capabilities to manage a varied caseload efficiently.

• Experience working within a telehealth setting is highly desirable.
• Background in working with clients experiencing addiction or co-occurring disorders is a plus.
• Familiarity with healthcare software and electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• The salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
