A highly respected national law firm is seeking a Trademark Associate Attorney to join its Minneapolis office.

This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing sophisticated clients in trademark, copyright, advertising, and brand protection matters.

Ideal Background

2–4 years of intellectual property experience gained at a sophisticated law firm

• Experience handling domestic and international trademark clearance, prosecution, maintenance, and portfolio management

• Experience preparing and prosecuting trademark applications before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO)

• Experience conducting trademark searches and providing clearance analyses and risk assessments

• Experience advising clients regarding copyright, advertising, marketing, and brand protection issues is preferred

• Experience managing global trademark portfolios and coordinating foreign trademark filings is a plus

• Experience handling trademark enforcement matters, TTAB proceedings, domain name disputes, and online brand protection issues is desirable

• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills

• Ability to work directly with clients and develop strategic brand protection solutions

• Excellent academic credentials

J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required

Minnesota bar admission required or ability to become admitted
