Our flagship product, the HiWave sticker, uses simple NFC (near field communication) technology to help you instantly share your phone number, social media handles, and any other info you want, and our app then allows you to easily recall and follow up. Other people don't need an app or a sticker to tap and get your info.
HiWave was founded by the former technology director at Harvard Innovation Labs.
Job Description
As an HiWave campus intern you are more than just an ambassador. You are evolving the networking culture on your campus. You are bringing a new business onto your campus and if you are able to make it take off - all bragging rights go to you. Put it on your resume, tell your next employer, this isn't just an ambassador program that turns into a pyramid scheme - this is a way for you to prove your capabilities of business networking in your future work field.We're a growing web startup that sells digital products. You'll have the chance to help build our company from the ground up. Responsibilities will include:
  • Share product within your organizations
  • Promote custom sticker orders
  • Increase brand awareness across campuses
  • Become a known networking tool within college communities
  • Introduce product beyond just your school but future career and networking opportunities
  • Work hands on with marketing team to build promotions
  • Take content of your networks using the stickers to be published on our social channels
  • Reach out to local businesses about partnering with HiWave ( a plus if you already have affiliations with campus restraints and bars)
  • Potentially host in person events

Qualifications
You might be perfect for this position if you are:
  • Have experience building business's through social media
  • Have a leadership position or strong role in a campus organization
  • Are pursuing or have completed a marketing/communications degree
  • Extremely passionate for online marketing
  • A junior or rising senior (not necessary but preferred)
  • Have affiliations with local establishments
  • Analytical, and great at communication and conceptual skills
