About the Job

Signal & Strand is partnering with a leading global consumer technology company to appoint a Senior Director, Brand & Creative. This role is responsible for defining and elevating the global brand, ensuring a clear, consistent, and differentiated presence across all consumer touchpoints.

This leader will own brand strategy, creative direction, and communications, shaping how the brand is expressed across campaigns, content, and storytelling. Operating at the intersection of strategy and creativity, this role will build long-term brand equity while enabling effective, high-impact marketing execution.


The Mandate
  • Define and lead global brand strategy, positioning, and narrative
  • Ensure a consistent and differentiated brand voice across all channels and regions
  • Elevate creative quality and storytelling across the organization
  • Balance long-term brand equity with near-term marketing effectiveness
  • Build and lead a high-performing brand, creative, and communications organization

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and evolve global brand strategy aligned to business priorities and audience insights
  • Own brand positioning, messaging frameworks, and narrative development
  • Establish and enforce global brand standards across visual identity and communications
  • Lead in-house creative across design, copy, and content production
  • Oversee global communications and PR strategy
  • Guide creative development for campaigns, product launches, and partnerships
  • Partner with Growth, Product Marketing, and Regional teams to ensure alignment across initiatives
  • Manage external agencies, including selection, briefing, and performance management
  • Establish and track brand health and creative effectiveness metrics
  • Act as a senior advisor to executive leadership on brand and communications strategy
  • Anticipate and manage reputational risk and crisis communications
  • Build and develop high-performing teams with clear processes and standards

Ideal Profile
  • 10โ€“12+ years of experience in brand, creative, or communications leadership roles
  • Proven experience leading global brand and creative organizations
  • Strong storytelling capability with excellent creative and editorial judgment
  • Experience partnering with executive stakeholders and influencing at the highest levels
  • Track record of building and scaling high-performing teams
  • Experience working within complex, matrixed organizations
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related field

Compensation
