Bobcat of Indy is a full service Bobcat Dealership. We specialize in new, used, and rental compact excavators, skid steer loaders, and track loaders. We offer parts support as well as both mobile and shop service.

Bobcat of Indy is seeking a Branch Support Specialist to learn the construction equipment distribution business and perform all branch functions. Development will require flexibility - multiple assignments in various positions and stores. The timeline for development, if the individual demonstrates aboveโ€‘average performance and potential, could take course over several years.

Monday - Friday dayshift

Salary $55,000-$65,000/year depending on experience

Responsibilities:
  • Duties will be diverse and short term
  • Support and work in parts, service, supply, and rental departments
  • Master the surface and underlying branch operating procedures
  • Become involved in the branch inventories of parts, supplies, and equipment
  • Give maximum support to the field sales organization
  • Establish an atmosphere of customer service throughout the store
  • Interpret corporate culture (mission, values, objectives) and incorporate in decisions, communication, and action
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree preferred but not required.
  • Stable work history with experience in the construction equipment business.
  • Strong multitasking and organizational skills.
  • Customer-focused with strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Flexibility โ€“ multiple assignments in various positions and stores in an ever-changing environment and timeline
  • Self-directed, goal-oriented and flexible.

Physical Requirements

Physically able to operate a variety of automated office machines including a computer, printer, copy machine, calculator, telephone, etc. on a repetitive basis.

Physically able to operate construction equipment and forklifts.

Physically able to work outdoors in all weather conditions and around fumes & loud noise.

Occasionally lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 50-100 pounds and/or frequently lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 20-50 pounds and/or continuous lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling 10-20 pounds.

Regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, grasp or pull and lift objects.

Occasionally required to sit, climb, and balance, kneel, stoop, crouch, and crawl.
